Corrosion Resistance: Stainless steel 317L is known for its excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments, including acidic, chloride-rich and alkaline environments where, which makes it ideal for use in applications such as the chemical manufacturing industry, pulp and paper, food processing and medicine.
High Temperature: 317L stainless steel retains most of its strength even at elevated temperatures, making it suitable for applications where high temperatures are a concern
